Meet our awesome JMP Team
John Meinert Printing opened its doors in 1912
Originally founded in 1912 by John Meinert, JMP was a member of a company group for a number of years. Now, however, it is a completely independent, family-run business.
In 1999, the Sievers took over the business and have made it what it is today—Namibia’s top commercial printing company. Initially run by Jürgen and Ulrike Sievers, nowadays their son Martin and his wife Anka are at the helm.
Here at JMP we pride ourselves on high quality printing; from posters, brochures, books, and stationery to special printing effects and stand-out finishes. We are currently working on offering an even bigger range of printing choices.

Things we believe in
Work hard and have fun!
We love what we do, but we also know that it takes effort to provide what you deserve: High quality products delivered on time with the best service.
Better safe than sorry!
The health and safety of our staff is important to us. That’s why John Meinert Printing complies with all legal requirements to operate and has an up-to-date record of all applicable inspections. It has also been inspected by the Ministry of Labour. A SHE commission meets on a regular basis to discuss how a safe workplace can be created and keep on being improved, so that we can provide a safe working environment for all.
Everyone deserves the same chances!
JMP is therefore fully compliant with affirmative action requirements and holds a current affirmative action compliance certificate, issued by the Employment Equity Commission.
We do a lot of in-house training, so our staff has the chance to develop their skills and show their potential. We are proud of our employees, who now have extensive skills in printing.
Who runs the world? Girls!
We have succeeded in raising the proportion of female employees to 50% of the total staff. We believe in an empowered society and diverse working environment for all, as it should always have been.
